We have been doing a survey on what we think of our enrichment's in school. Enrichment's are lessons that we have for fun at the end of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for an hour. This is the results:

I feel very happy about the MUGA, because the MUGA stands for multy use games area.we can play football on it we can play basket ball and net ball and loads more.

Year 7 trip to the Olympic Stadium

On Tuesday 24th April year 7 went on a focus day to the, currently being built, Olympic Stadium. We went their to study the architecture of all the buildings which we then sketched. We saw The Orbit which once the Olympics are over will be open to public. It will have a lift that takes people to the top and then stairs all the way back down. This is the orbit:

Year 7 focus day!!!

Last Tuesday (26th) it was focus day at wren academy! But instead of doing some activities at school we went out on a school trip the the Olympic stadium! At first we where seperated into 5 groups and left on 5 coaches at 8:25 in the morning. When we got there we got a tour guide who directed us around the site by coach, after we got off and got up close to the actual stadiums. We had lunch and went back to school again for the last few lessons of the day.

year 7 Athletics team

The year 7 boys athletics team went to the londen seconary regional final.They done eccelent and came 9th.they are the 9th best athletics team in london

unfortunately we lost to our rival school Compton 2-1 in the finals of the girls league. We played well but couldn't manage to win.

Half term!!!!

We are in our last week of school untill we have 2 weeks off for our easter holidays! At the moment in school we are doing lots of tests on our subjects witch we always do at the end of each term so we know how much we may have inproved and what we need to do better at so we can set new targets for the new term ahead.

Year 7 Focus Day

Year7 had a focus day which was called personal finances. They did loads of competitions like who could spend the most money, but they only had 50 pounds to spend in shares from different companies.There were loads of competitions.

Year 7 Girls Tag Rugby

This week in P.E for Yr7 girls started tag rugby. They finished doing dance for 6 weeks and  moved on to a new topic. So far they have only had one lesson on it but it has been a very enjoyable experience. Although the weather has been freezing they still had a great time.
